HYUNDAI RALLY TEAM 2002

Hyundai entered U.S. ProRally racing in 1995, lending factory support to John Buffum's Libra Racing team. In the hands of team manager Buffum, Driver Paul Choiniere and Co-Driver Jeff Becker, Hyundai quickly emerged as a dominant force in SCCA ProRally Championship competition. For 2002, Libra Racing added the considerable talents of British F2 Champion Mark Higgins and Irish rally co-driver champion Michael Gibson who, along with Paul Choinere and Jeff Becker won the Maufacturers' Championship for Hyundai.

Highlights for Hyundai include five consecutive Manufacturers Championships (1996-2000) and 34 event victories on the SCCA ProRally circuit:
